The Squaw Creek Hunt Club headquarters is located less than one mile west of the Squaw Creek National Wildlife Refuge near Mound City, Missouri and offers the following amenities to club members and their guests.
Memberships Includes Unlimited Use and Access to the Following:
Unlimited Fall Waterfowl Hunting
Locations Include:
- cornfield East of Nodaway Public Access Area
- pit blinds in Missouri River bottoms located less than 1 mile from Southwest corner of Squaw Creek National Wildlife Refuge
– blinds provided maybe – layout ground blinds, duck blinds, pit blinds
– field hunting (ducks, Canada geese, snow geese)
– pond hunting
– all equipment provided – duck decoys, full body Canada decoys (Avery & Bigfoot)
– guided, semi-guided, and unguided hunts – fall waterfowl hunts
Spring Snow Goose Hunting Available
– conservation action spring snow goose hunting in the Mound City, Missouri area and Squaw Creek NWR
– all equipment provided – Sillosocks, full body snow goose decoys by Avery, shell decoys (Avery, Bigfoot, Flambeau), Vortex machines, Sillosock flyers, Avery, Rogers, & Cabela’s layout ground blinds
– guided spring snow goose hunts
Lodging & Food
Lodging – Completely furnished five bedroom farm house, with spacious ( kitchen, dining room. living room)
Food – Breakfast, Dinner, Supper – (can be provided)
Equipment Checklist – Guided Snow Goose Hunt
- rubber boot, hip boots or chest waders
- wool socks
- Missouri nonresident small game hunting license (available online or over the counter)
- Missouri Conservation Action Licenses hunting license (available online or over the counter)
- hunters education certificate (Required of those born on or after Jan. 1, 1967)
- shotgun
- steel shotgun shells (BB’s and BBB’s)
- camouflaged clothing
- camouflaged face mask, or stocking hat face mask
- warm camouflage hat with ear protection
- gloves
- long underwear

Premium Package 1 – Spring Snow Goose Hunt
– full day hunt ( 30 mins. before sunrise until 5:00 pm)
– fully guided field hunt
- $175.00 per hunter / per day.
We provide all equipment, blinds, callers, decoys(800 – 1500) Full Body Decoys (GHG, Avery, Bigfoot, ect. ) 10 -75 Silosock Flyers. Also silosocks, shell decoys and floaters if needed. We do everything you just show up and hunt.
Decoy Spreads Available
- 600 full body decoys, 500 sillosocks, over 30 flyers – PIT BLIND
- 700 deadly decoys, sillo socks, 200 floaters, over 30 flyers – pond / cornfield / bean field
- 1500 Sillosocks, up 50 flyers – to go spread (go where the snow goose are at)
- 750 shells decoys (Avery 5/8s, full size, and motion shells) 300 – 500 sillo socks- pit blind style
- over 15 location that we can hunt in the Mound City / Squaw Creek NWR area

The Missouri Conservation Action Season opens February 1, 2013 We have some openings for the beginning of the season.
Special Early Season Price
Full Day hunts $175.00 per hunter / per day. Over 1 Million snow geese at Squaw Creek NWR The snow geese already in Missouri and the hunting should be fast and furious.

CARIBBEAN SNOW GOOSE
2 lbs. snow goose meat, sliced ½” thick
2 c. orange
6 tsp. green onion, finely chopped
½ c. rice wine 1 tsp. crushed red pepper
4 tsp. brown sugar 1 tsp. cloves
2 tsp. nutmeg Salt to taste
2 tsp. allspice
To make marinade: mix together orange juice, rice wine, brown sugar, green onion, nutmeg, allspice, red pepper, salt and cloves. Divide in half. Use half to marinate the goose meat for 2-4 hours.
Remove meat from marinade. Grill goose on medium-high barbecue until cooked to medium rare.
Cook the other half of the marinade in a saucepan on medium heat until it forms a thick sauce. Serve as a hot dip for the grilled meat
